Just in case anyone else wanted to know or is as obsessive about this as I am.

Bell will get a chance to start for the Beavers this spring because the incumbent second baseman Garrett Nash is leaving the school to do a Mormon mission.

From Baseball America's college blog: He has the body control and athletic ability to play the position in college. His 7.0-second speed in the 60 and below-average range likely make a move to third a necessity for pro ball, and his bat is light for the draft at a corner spot.

I really wanted Bell (duh) and given the dearth of options at third, this new information is sort of a drag.

zito video http://www.mccoveychronicles.com/2008/10/10/632484/zito-video raisingcain http://www.mccoveychronicles.com/2008/10/10/632484/zito-video Fri, 10 Oct 2008 18:03:18 -0000
zito video

I found this linked to on driveline mechanics. Liveley was third best on a list of those singed by MLB teams. The former Sac State pitcher was released from the Colorado organization in 2007 following an arm injury but rebounded to pitch effectively for the SAL champion Augusta Greenjackets in 2008.

BA says of his stuff: Lively started out throwing in the high 80s, but before long he was back throwing in the low to mid-90s with a relatively free and easy delivery.
